Why We Love It: Brothers Chad and Branden Miller opened their nano-brewery on the fringe of the hip RiNo ’hood with the goal of becoming what they call the “Red Ale Project.” They’ve succeeded and then some, with everything from red porters to saisons. Try: Red Evelyn, an Imperial red rye IPA with notes of citrus and toffee and a honeyed, bitter finish; or Red Quad, aged in whiskey barrels for 21 months and blended with beans from Denver’s Huckleberry Roasters. Cool factor: All of the hops are sourced from Arvada grower Voss Farms.
