Since opening in early 2015, Ratio—founded by former musicians Jason Zumbrunnen (brewer), Zach Lowery and Scott Kaplan—is committed to great beer, community, art and music, as demonstrated by the buzzy industrial-cool tasting room and adjacent patio. You’re drinking Dear You, an earthy, beguiling French saison, or getting a double-buzz off of Novo Hold Steady—a smooth, smoky, sexy dark Scotch ale brewed with beans from neighboring Novo Coffee.
