Happy Belly CSA sprouts from Fresh & Wyld

Longtime local farm-to-table advocate Dava Parr has something both fresh and wild up her sleeve this season. She recently closed Fresh & Wyld, her B&B and seasonal restaurant in Paonia, and is now directing her culinary and agrarian energies toward Happy Belly CSA.

Between Parr’s plot on the former Fresh & Wyld property, and five or six participating farms in the area, Happy Belly will be able to fill 60–100 boxes overflowing with the freshest fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, eggs and meats, as well as home-crafted products such as bread, bone broth, sauerkraut and preserves. She is excited to share recipes with members, who are encouraged to visit the farm and get their hands dirty.
