Gina Cucina, a Carbondale-based prepared food company, showcases produce from sustainable farms (this time of year, think nourishing soups like tomato artichoke or carrot ginger). Now, a portion of each sale is donated to local schools through the company’s Bowls for Souls program. “We package soups in 16-ounce containers and deliver them to schools, where administrators can give them to kids who don’t have access to healthy lunches,” says owner Gina Stryker.
