Why We Love It: The recent relocation to a larger, state-of-the-art “brewing campus” (a 3-minute walk from Asher Brewing) means there’s more of founder/brewmaster Adam Avery’s delicious, full-flavored beer to go around. Known for his witty, iconic lines like the Demons of Ale (try Mephistopheles Stout, which boasts undercurrents of rummy, caramelized fruit), or Holy Trinity (the Reverend—a Belgian-style quadruple—is smooth and spicy), and barrel-aged brews. Not for the faint of palate or high-ABV-averse, but you can line your stomach with Southern-inspired offerings from the taproom menu.
