On the go
Karen Hoskin, founder of Crested Butte’s sustainable and much-lauded Montanya Distillers, was distressed by the amount of convenience trash she encountered daily, including paper napkins, coffee cups, to-go containers, bags and straws. Determined to do something about it, she and two partners launched Zoetica, a “social entrepreneurship company that elevates the style, convenience, space-saving nature and quality of the zero-and low-waste life.”
Hoskin, Elizabeth Smith and Jen Brody are working with various companies—some Colorado-based—to design and produce high-style kits equipped with reusable products like coffee cups, water bottles, nesting food storage containers, organic cotton napkins, shopping totes, produce bags, cutlery and straws. Products come in an array of sizes and styles and are packaged in purses or totes. To order, visit ZoeticaLife.com.
