Another pandemic-born tradition that’s proven popular, Ajax Tavern’s Dinner + A Movie series returns for summer 2021, Monday evenings from June 14 to September 27. Reserve a patio table or settle in on the lawn and order dinner from the Tavern’s menu, or a special Veuve Clicquot picnic package; showtime for your favorite flicks of the last few decades is 8:30 p.m.

A more private evening can be experienced at The Little Nell’s speakeasy, The Board Room, which debuted last winter. Cleverly disguised behind a bookcase, this cozy den can be booked for a group dinner, special event, or meeting with a $2,500 minimum food and beverage spend. There’s a pool table, large TV, and complete bar, plus a personal sommelier and the option to customize your meal from The Little Nell’s full menu and wine list.
